Through the years, I wrote articles remembering the events that transpired during Marcos’ Martial Law, and its long-lasting effects that the country still unfortunately experience today. While revisionism of the Marcos years is on the rise, these articles contribute to the irrefutable first-hand accounts and academic research on the truth that is the Marcos dictatorship. Today, we need to reflect on this part of our nation’s history more than ever; when there are looming darker days for the country.
We must draw hope, so that we can resist.
